
Elder Curtis Marshall is a dedicated servant-leader, veteran, and pastor with a lifelong commitment to ministry, mentorship, and community service. Born in Tifton, Georgia, he graduated from Tift County High School in 1982 and soon after enlisted in the United States Army. Over the next 20 years, Elder Marshall served with distinction—including two combat tours—before retiring from military service. Throughout his military career, he served under several respected leaders, including the late Bishop Carlos Moody (Germany), Bishop J.A. Young (Northwest Oklahoma), Bishop Roy H. Wimbush (Louisiana First), and the late Bishop S.E. Iglehart (Texas Southwest).
Elder Marshall continued his theological education through the Louisiana First Jurisdiction Seminary School, completing his studies and being ordained an Elder in 2006 by Bishop Roy H. Wimbush. Earlier, from 1996 to 1998, he completed ministerial training through the Louisiana Church of God in Christ First Jurisdiction Seminary School located in DeQuincy, Louisiana.
In April 2023, Elder Marshall was recommended by Superintendent Paul Thompson, Sr., and later endorsed by Bishop Maurice Green, Jr. (Texas Southwest First, Prelate), to serve as Pastor of Martin Memorial Church of God in Christ. His ministry is shaped by decades of leadership, discipleship, and a heart for restoration and unity within the body of Christ.

Beyond ministry and military service, Elder Marshall has also dedicated the past six years to serving as the Texas Southwest Coordinator for Men of Change 501(c)(3), a nonprofit men’s mentorship organization based in Greenville, North Carolina.
Elder Marshall has been married for 39 years to his wife, Ellis J. Marshall. Together they are blessed with three daughters and four grandchildren, who remain an important foundation of his life and ministry.

For 39 treasured years, I have shared my life with my best friend, Curtis Marshall. Together, we are blessed with a wonderful family, including three extraordinary daughters and four beloved grandchildren, who are my most cherished gifts.
In my capacities as a Community Liaison and Spiritual Advisor, I strive to inspire, unite, and guide individuals and organizations toward achieving their utmost potential.
In 1979 I graduated from Charles Harrison Mason Bible College in Louisiana. I was licensed as a Missionary in 1981 and was given Evangelist Missionary Licenses several years later while severing in various positions in many churches across the world and abroad my greatest joy has always been helping others. I hold two degrees from Northwestern State University in Health and Human Services and Psychology.
My mission is straightforward: to assist people in evolving into their most authentic and fulfilled selves while cultivating impactful partnerships that enhance outreach, increase access to resources, and foster meaningful change within communities.
